Briar Barn, a new spacious barn conversion near Newquay, Cornwall is set in a delightful country location in central Cornwall, and offers self catering holidays for up to 4 people. Situated on a peaceful hillside overlooking Goss Moor, the Holiday Cottage is about 8 miles from the beaches and cliff walks of Newquay.

"A Home away from Home!"

One of three units at Trerice Barns, Briar  has a large open plan living room, dining area and kitchen, and two bedrooms accommodating 4 people.  One well-behaved dog is permitted.  The master bedroom has an en-suite shower room and features a king-size bed.  The second spacious bedroom has twin beds.  A separate fully equipped bathroom completes the layout.  All linen and towels are included in the rent.

Double doors in the lounge lead out onto the fully-enclosed patio garden.  On the wooden decking is a grouping of table and chairs, and at the end of the lower stone terrace is a built-in barbeque.  Two recliner lounge chairs are also provided for outside use. 


 

The fitted kitchen contains cooker, dishwasher, fridge freezer, microwave, washing machine and many essential kitchen utensils, while in the living room there is an entertainment centre with TV, DVD, radio and CD player.  A selection of DVDs, games and books are provided for your enjoyment.  The lounge also has a wood burner and a starter pack of fuel (included in the rent) is provided in the autumn and winter months. Mevagissey Harbour

 

 

Many fine tourist attractions are accessible from Briar Barn, including the world-famous Eden Project, the China Clay Museum at St. Austell, Heligan Gardens and Lobb Farms near the fishing port of Mevagissey.  For those who enjoy walking, the South-West Coast Path is just a few miles to the west, with its endless golden beaches and cliff tops covered in heather and broom.  And of course, there is Newquay with its beaches and surfing, gardens, zoo and aquarium, and fine dining establishments.
